Costs

What a Webflow site really costs.

A bare bones Webflow site on a custom domain is two combined costs: a Site plan for hosting and a Workspace plan for the account you build in. Here's what each one covers, when you can skip one, and when Enterprise becomes unavoidable.

01 / The bare bones build

Two plans, one site.

Every Webflow site lives inside a Workspace. The Site plan pays for hosting and publishing to your domain. The Workspace plan pays for the account, staging, and collaboration around it.

Site plan
$15/mo

Basic, billed yearly. Custom domain, 300 static pages, no CMS. Premium is $25/mo billed yearly and adds the CMS, site search, and form file uploads.

Workspace plan
$0/mo

The free Starter Workspace supports unlimited paid hosted sites, two staging sites, and one full seat.

Minimum to go live
$15/mo

Plus domain registration, paid to your registrar. Need a blog or any CMS content? Plan on Premium.

When a Site plan alone is enough

  • One site on a custom domain, built and edited by one person.
  • You don't need more than two unpublished staging sites in your account.
  • You never plan to export the code or share components across multiple sites.

When you need a paid Workspace plan

  • More staging sites: Core ($19/mo) allows 10, Growth ($49/mo) is unlimited.
  • Code export and Shared Libraries, which start on Core.
  • Site-level roles and publishing permissions, which start on Growth.
  • Freelancers and agencies managing client sites: Freelancer ($16/mo) or Agency ($35/mo), all billed yearly.
The 10% nobody mentions

Agencies and developers get 10% of your paid hosting fees for life. That's a real incentive to recommend Webflow as "the best CMS option" for you, so weigh the recommendation accordingly.

02 / Enterprise

When Enterprise is required.

Webflow's Platform plans start with Team at $2,500/mo on an annual contract, with Enterprise priced custom above it. These are common things B2B companies do with WordPress and other CMS tools that push you up-tier on Webflow.

Common B2B need

03 / Agency pricing

Why Webflow builds cost more. Positioning, not harder work.

Webflow websites typically carry a much higher price point for businesses. The reasons are mostly market positioning.

01

Different buyer

Webflow is sold to marketing teams at funded SaaS and startups who want to ship pages without developers. They spend from marketing budgets and value autonomy, so agencies price to that value.

02

Design-led studios

Most Webflow agencies are design shops. Their quote bundles brand, UX, custom design, and animation. Many WordPress quotes are dev-only or theme-based, so it's often not apples to apples.

03

No cheap tier dragging the average down

WordPress has a massive low end: themes, page builders, offshore, $500 sites. Webflow has almost no bargain market, so prices cluster high.

04

Smaller talent pool

Fewer experienced Webflow devs, and Certified Partner status acts as a gate and a premium signal.

05

Interaction-heavy builds

Webflow sites lean on custom animations and polish, which eat hours.

06

Speed isn't passed on

A faster build doesn't lower the price; agencies keep the margin.
